Some Notes For CFDA Registration of Imported Cosmetices
1.All imported cosmetics and skin care products must be registered and obtain permit from CFDA before importing into China for sales.
2.Registration conditions:
-the products are being sold in place of origin.
-a registered company with independent legal personality in mainland China to act as the applicant company
3.the same product with difference in volume only needs to get one permit. Products of differences in name and formula shall obtain separate permits.
4.Product formula is the basis of registration. The formula must conforms with the relevant regulations of China government. The usable formula in place of origin may not be usable in Mainland China.
5.The permit is valid for four years. And the applicant company can apply for renewal 4 months before the permit expires.
