The Procedures of CFDA Registration of Imported Cosmetics
Step one: sign agency agreement for CFDA registration
-product assessment before proceeding to registration. A sample with package for final sales and formula shall be provided
-draft authorization letter ¡ú notarization ¡ú registration
Step two: film registration information form
Step three: prepare samples and registration materials
Step four: submit samples and registration materials for inspection after review
Step five: prepare materials for a higher level of revision
Step six: submit for formal registration after passing higher level of revision
Step seven: obtain the registration permit
How long it takes?
For non-specials used skin care product, it takes roughly 4-6 months counting from step six.
